Using The Hoodia Plant

Cactus like Hoodia Gordonii plant contains a substance which produced to body a dramatic control over hunger, appetite and thirst. Though Hoodia Gordonii looks like a cactus, it belongs to a group of plants called succulents. The use of Hoodia as an appetite reducer has been supported by both the traditional culture and the latest scientific research. Hoodia is well known to the bushmans in South Africa, who have learned from their ancestors to eat this plant to reduce the sense of hunger. Bushmans in South Africa believe that Hoodia is their food, water and medicine.
Bushmans who live in the Kalahari desert, have highly appreciated Hoodia gordonii, since it is also one of the few plants that thrive there. The strength of this plant, known to bushmans as Khoba, is increasingly expanding in the world in the fight against the global pandemic of obesity. The Council has finally started to ?isten the bushmans.
