Hoodia Gordoni is a type of cactus, it belongs to a family of “beef” cactus that already grows in the Millennium Kalahari desert. And Hoodia has been used thousands of years by right there living bushmans. They were using it as a natural inhibitor of appetite and the means for satisfaying thirst. All this comes very handy when there are long days of hunting for food.
How Hoodia actually work?
Scientists believe that Hoodia Gordonii has the capacity for action as an inhibitor of appetite due to the molecule “P57″. Usually, when ingested food, the level of glucose in your body rises and your brain (hypothalamic), eventually getsĀ signal that you’re not hungry. Consequently, this occurs, simply that you no longer needĀ to eat.
