Eating didn’t included Flowers, roots and barbs . The natural use of Hoodia has meant cutting the barbed skin and feeding her or drinking syrup from the plant. Some TV correspondents did test the traditional plant, shape, their opinions are in addition to its sour taste spoken in favor of an immediate effect on the inhibition of appetite. It is clear that Hoodia gordonii most users has not been taken in this fresh form . Therefore they used Hoodio gordonii’s dried extract and concentrate, which was used as a dietary supplement or as a complement to food.

Though Hoodia Gordonii looks like a cactus, it belongs to a group of plants called succulents. The use of Hoodia as an appetite reducer has been supported by both the traditional culture and the latest scientific research. Hoodia is well known to the bushmans in South Africa, who have learned from their ancestors to eat this plant to reduce the sense of hunger. Bushmans in South Africa believe that Hoodia is their food, water and medicine.

Bushmans who live in the Kalahari desert, have highly appreciated Hoodia gordonii, since it is also one of the few plants that thrive there. The strength of this plant, known to bushmans as Khoba, is increasingly expanding in the world in the fight against the global pandemic of obesity. The Council has finally started to ?isten the bushmans.

Hoodia Gordoni is a type of cactus, it belongs to a family of “beef” cactus that already grows in the Millennium Kalahari desert. And Hoodia has been used thousands of years by right there living bushmans. They were using it as a natural inhibitor of appetite and the means for satisfaying thirst. All this comes very handy when there are long days of hunting for food.

How Hoodia actually work?

Scientists believe that Hoodia Gordonii has the capacity for action as an inhibitor of appetite due to the molecule “P57″. Usually, when ingested food, the level of glucose in your body rises and your brain (hypothalamic), eventually gets signal that you’re not hungry. Consequently, this occurs, simply that you no longer need to eat.
